Very thorough, complex and in-depth. This camera is quite amazing and I really needed the help given in this book. It is very long and covers the amazing number of possibilities for operating successfully. I still have much to learn and a quick review of the book shows that everything is covered. Owning the book also allows for a download of the color version for free. Can't beat that. Gary Friedman has such complete knowledge of the a6000 that one feels very limited by lack of experience as a neophyte photographer, as I am. If you really want to learn to operate your a6000 this is the best instruction out there. I did a huge amount of research before purchasing this book and highly recommend it if you are serious. If not, just set your camera on P (program) and take photos. It then works great as a point and shoot. A fairly expensive one, however. Seriously, even very advanced photographers can learn a lot from Mr. Friedman's Complete Guide . . .
