When I go jogging, I do not like wearing wireless earphones/buds. They don't stay in place very well and if they fall out its a hassle. So I was looking for a simple replacement for my old Sony headphones, which lasted a long time. These are great, and the in-ear design of the earbuds are perfect for staying in place during my runs. I have used them a few times with my phone, and the mic works well. Good product at a great price! This is my go to for getting replacement in ear headphones since I tend to have mine wear out over time, I have had some last months before slowly getting quieter in one side, then stopping. With my use case it does last around a few months, possibly close to a year depending on how rough I was to them, so you will have to buy replacements every so often. Unlike more cheap headphones that have way too much bass, these are very neutral in sound and fit my ears relatively well with included earbuds.I often check reviews here before buying, so thought I should chime in to perhaps balance out some of those less-than-stellar ones these earphones have received. I'm no audiophile or sound technician, but they sound fine to me for the money. I've had mine about a week. I needed a set with a microphone after I sliced through the cable of my old "nice" ones while cooking like an idiot. I can discern that the sound quality is noticeably better than the ones I've gotten for a buck at Dollar Tree, also with a microphone, that I mostly use while riding my motorcycle so I can hear the nice Google GPS lady and some tunes while I bumble along those backroads. Most of the poor reviews mention that they're not very robust, but which are? For example, I usually buy a few of those Dollar Tree ones at a time for riding, since they do get tugged around quite a bit in the saddle under my helmet. But I'll try to treat these gently, use 'em only at home, and see how it goes. Lastly, I see they are made in Vietnam, so if you were hoping for Japanese-made Sony you may want to look elsewhere. But really, they seem just fine to me.I have bought these twice. The first pair lasted a year or so, I can't remember exactly. The second pair lasted about 6 months. Both times the sound stopped coming out of one of the ear buds. Both pairs just sat on my desk, they weren't carried around everywhere in a pocket or bag. If you are wondering, I'll probably yet another pair, as the price is right. The bass is on a whole 'nother level if I am being honest. feels like a built in subwoofer in your ears. the right bud barley works but the left works fine. noise cancelation...not so much but turn it all the way up and you can ignore your family and other strangers. These headphones in comparison to Panasonic ErgoFit have noticeably less bass to them which isn't a bad thing, the sound quality is just as good, cable length is about 1 inch longer then Panasonic the thickness of the cable is about the same I used to buy Panasonic HJE120-K all the time until their price went up, so purchased these Sony earbuds instead.I would not buy these to listen to music, but they are perfect for listening to the televisions at the gym. Would buy again.I listen to asmr when I sleep, and I have destroyed multiple earbuds over the years by sleeping on top of them through the night. These lasts the longest and I use them all the time! Currently on my second pair because I lost the first. Highly recommend if you like durable, decent sounding, and budget ear buds.I bought these after my 2 year old sony mdrs developed a crackle, and when I plugged them into my ipod I thought my ipod had a fault. However, having tried them in my android phone, I think the left earpiece is not delivering the right volume and I dont appear to be getting stereo output from either android or ipod.Unfortunately I have to customise the ear phlanges to fit them in my ear so I cant return then. They also lack bass, which is irritating even when listening to audio booksThough the sound quality is good and the microphone is awesome. But the headphone didn't lasted more than 4 months!..... Used it decently but the left ear piece stopped working and soon after that the mkcrophone attached to that side also stopped working plus the cord got ripped off!.... Really i'm disappointed by the lasting of this headphone. Spend a lot of money by buying it but didn't get the satisfaction of using it at all!I bought these to use on an Oculus Quest 2 VR headset to try to get improved audio. Unfortunately, the exact opposite was achieved. The sound from these headphones is very tinny, lacking any form of bass. The built in speakers on the Quest give vastly superior audio over these. To make sure it wasn't just an issue with the Quest, I plugged them into a phone and tested with some music. The same result, tinny, lifeless audio.I really like the sound quality of these headphones and it's hard to find good sounding ones, so I used to buy these for years but recently it seems they have a design fault. After about two or three or months one of the ear plugs starts to fade.I've continued buying them, because they are cheap and in the hope that one of them will be ok but nope, the last four have all faded after a short time, so this is the last time I will buy them and will continue my hunt for a pair I'm happy with. Hey, JVC, come here!Total rubbish don't buy this because after using only for 4 weeks the headphones started to have problems like when you are talking over the phone the other person can't hear you clearly or there is a very bad cracking noise on the other side.Do not buy save your money.
